MYSTERY QUILT CLASS
***MYSTERY QUILT CLASS – SIZES VARI - $7 - THURS EVE - FIRST CLUE **IF YOU HAVE GOTTEN YOUR PRE-CLASS CUTTING INSTRUCTIONS - YOU WILL BE GETTING A CORRECTION IN THE MAIL** IF YOU ARE USING 1/4 YD CUTS YOUR FABRIC MUST BE 44" WIDE TO CUT 2 BLOCKS FROM IT. IF USING FAT QUARTERS FOR 2 BLOCKS, IT WILL STILL WORK FOR 2 BLOCKS. Barbara Kasperson - firstname.lastname@example.org - 253-226-6203 This class will meet several times throughout the weekend to give you clues as you progress through the steps. This will keep you guessing and add to the excitement! Simple and pretty , this easy quilt comes together very fast. Fat Quarter and Fat Eight friendly. Easy enough for beginners and complex enough for experienced sewers. There are four sizes to choose from, Crib, Throw, Twin, and Queen and this quilt does not have a border. You will need a variety of “prints”. Choose from small to med florals or prints, geometrics, tone-on-tone or solids, saving the one way prints or stripes for your next quilt. Choose a non-directional, non-busy background and an accent that contrasts well with all fabrics. Fabric required: Fabric A – “Prints”: (Assumes 1 block per fabric will be made. You can use less variety and make 2 blocks per fat quarter or (¼ yd cutonly if it is 44" of usable width of the fabric) but can only get 1 block from a fat eighth. Your fat eighth must measure a minimum of 9” X 22” or 11” X 18” either will work, an ⅛ yd cut will not work.) Scraps are a great choice for this quilt as long as they meet the measurement requirements. Teachers note to students: I started out making a throw with 25 fat quarters. I liked it so much I enlarged it to a queen using the same fat quarters and making two blocks from each fabric. You will also need a fabric marker, however, if your machine bed is marked for diagonal lines that will work great!
Required –Chalk or Washable or Air erasable marker. Do not use permanent marker.
*Pre-class cutting instructions included with registration confirmation. Backing, binding and batting requirements not provided at this time. You may decide you want to add border to your quilt then the size will change. This pattern has no border.

T-SHIRT QUILT – CAROL’S WAY – VARIABLE SIZE - FREE CLASS – AM Class CAROL MADDOX - firstname.lastname@example.org - 253-279-4823 I am going to show you the easiest way to make t-shirt quilts. Bring all of the t-shirts you plan to use in the quilt (make sure they are clean). The size is completely up to you and you do not have to decide right away. I use as much of the t-shirt as possible. I use it for the logo and for the separating blocks. Supply List Try to have many, many colors of shirts. This is a fun way to make the quilt. I like it because the math is minimal. :) Light to Medium weight fusible interfacing. (5 yds to start – 10 yds for a quilt possibly more) Pencil for notes. Basic sewing supplies & sharp rotary cutter (12-½” square and 6” x 24” rulers) Extra pack of needles (including universal or sharp, topstitch needles.)

STARGELLO – 40” x 42” (without border or framing) - $35.00 (*see note below)– AM Class Barbara Kasperson - firstname.lastname@example.org - 253-226-6203 This is one of those “how did you do that?” quilts. It’s a beautiful 10 point swirling star with or without a border and with or without framing pieces. You can leave it as a “circle” shape or frame it to be square. It’s so very easy with the required rulers. This quilt is designed with two color families, three values in each family. You could also choose all one color with six various values or you may want six different colors. Smaller prints, dense designs, tone-on tone or even solids will work wonderful. Leave splotchy, multi colored or large florals for another quilt. Also, note where your color families will touch each other in the quilt. A & F are next to each other as well as C & D, so don’t make them too close in value. You will want to see a difference between the sections. Fabric requirements: 1st color family, A, B, C: ½ yd each 2nd color family, D, E, F: ½ yd each Background (not fussy or directional): 1 yd Very helpful - not required a 12" or larger revolving cutting mat Optional border: ½ yd Optional framing: ¾ yd, goes outside the border No backing or binding amount provided at this time – choices will change the finished size. *NOTE - This pricing includes 3 rulers and a pattern – Over a $40 value – if you have the Gem 5 & 10 ruler set and/or the Gem 30 ruler – contact Yo 253-761-3193 for individual pricing. *Pre-class cutting instructions included with registration confirmation.
